A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA; EXPRESSING
APPRECIATION OF L. GRANT (JACK) PEEPLES FOR HIS
DEDICATION TO AND ACHIEVEMENTS FOR THE
VILLAGE THROUGH EFFECTIVE LOBBYING EFFORTS
WITH THE STATE OF FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, Mr. L. Grant Peeples was appoint as the Village Lobbyist for beach nourishment
issues by Village Council on February 10, 1998; and
WHEREAS, Mr. L. Grant Peeples has unselfishly donated his time and energy for the well
being of the Village of Key Biscayne, Florida by securing State Beach Nourishment Funds in the
amount of $1.189 million.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Village Council hereby expresses extreme appreciation for the dedication and
effectiveness of Mr. L. Grant Peeples.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of May , 1998.
