AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE RECEIPT AND
DISTRIBUTION OF FUNDS FOR THE MAYOR'S OPEN
WHEREAS, the first annual Mayor's Open will be held at Highland Lake Golf Club on
Saturday, August 2, 1997; and
WHEREAS, the proceeds of said Open will benefit the Business -Education Liaison
Program of the Richmond/Wayne County Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, it will be necessary for the City to receive and distribute funds for said
Open.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, as follows:
1. That the receipt of funds for greens fees as well as tee and green sponsors are
hereby authorized.
2. The total amount of green fees shall be distributed to Highland Lake Golf Club
and the total amount of tee and green sponsorship funds shall be distributed to the
Richmond/Wayne County Chamber of Commerce for the Workforce Development
Program.
3. Greens fees shall be receipted into revenue account 850-99-001-9965 (Greens
Fees -Mayor's Open),
4. Tee and green sponsorship funds will be received into revenue account 850-99-
00 1 -9966 (Workforce Development -Mayor's Open).
5. Funds shall be dispersed from expenditure account 850-85-850-8501-3-3939
(Golf Outing Disbursement).

the City of Richmond, Indiana.
