AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 154 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, BEING
ORDINANCE NO. 2325-1968, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF
THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1 EAST MAIN STREET, RICHMOND, INDIANA,
FROM 0-1 GREENBELT TO C-2 GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Zoning Map which is a part of Ordinance No.
2325-1968 designates and describes as 0-1 Greenbelt
District, the property located at 1 East Main Street;
and,
WHEREAS, it is the intent and purpose hereof to change the
zoning classification of said property from 0-1
Greenbelt District to C-2 General Business District;
and,
WHEREAS, a study of this Ordinance was conducted by the
Richmond City Plan Commission the ,7 (, d day of

remonstrant s were heard from all parties interested
in or affected by this Ordinance; and,
WHEREAS, the vote of the Richmond City Plan Commission was

recommending the passage of Ordinance No. 29-1987.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
SECTION 1. That the zoning classification of the property
described below, and the same is hereby changed to C-2
General Business District, and that said property be
regulated in accordance with the zoning Ordinance of
the City of Richmond, Indiana and all amendments
thereto.
Lots 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12 JP Plummer and Company
Addition to the City of Richmond. And Also Official
Map 176 and Map 176A, Part Northwest Section 5,
Township 13, Range 1 1.12 acres, Official Map 198A,
including tract 198 A-1, .685 acres and Official Map
239, Section 5, Township 13, Range 1 .10 acres all of
which is located in the City of Richmond, Wayne
County, Indiana.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval as by law required.
