A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A
CONTRACT FOR ELECTRONIC DATA PROCESSING AND MAILING
SERVICES WITH INFOSEND, INC. FOR A TERM OF THREE YEARS,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT
WITH THE FIRM
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood recognizes that the residents of Lynwood have a
right to expect, and the City has an obligation to provide efficiently and cost effectively
electronic data processing and mailing services; and
WHEREAS, staff evaluated that outsourcing these services is more cost beneficial
and economical than processing them in house; and
WHEREAS, the City received proposals from two other firms who will not be able
to provide a short turn-around in processing and mailing the City's utility bills; and
WHEREAS, the City is satisfied with the quality and timeliness of services currently
provided and determined that the agreement should be awarded to Infosend.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Lynwood herby authorizes the Mayor to
execute.a Professional Service Agreement (Exhibit "A"), in a form approved by the City
Attorney, with Infosend, Inc. for electronic data processing and mailing services for the
term February 17, 2021 — February 16, 2024, at an annual amount not to exceed
$40,000 per contract year.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and hereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
