THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS
ORDINANCE No.~
AN ORDINANCE INCORPORATING BY REFERENCE FOR THE PURPOSE
OF REGULATING AND RESTRICTING THE USE OF LAND AND THE
LOCATION OF BUILDING STRUCTURES WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS
OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE THAT CERTAIN STANDARD ORDINANCE
KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF BEL AIRE,
KANSAS, EDITION OF 1982, PREPARED AND PUBLISHED BY THE
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF BEL AIRE AND ADOPTING
THE ZONING DISTRICT }~P.
Section 1. INCORPORATION OF ZONING ORDINANCE. There is hereby
incorporated by reference fer the purpose of regulating and restricting the
use ef land and the use and location of buildings and structures within the
corporate limits of the City of Bel Aire, Kansas, that certain standard
ordinance known as the Zening Ordinance for the City of Bel Aire, Kansas,
Edition of 1982, prepared and published in book ferm by the Planning and
Zoning CommiHsion of Bel Aire, Kansas. Not less than three (3) copies of
said Standard Ordinance fer the City of Bel Aire, Kansas, shall be marked
or stamped "Office Copy as Incorporated by the Code of the City ef Bel Aire,
Kansas" with all sections or portions thereof intended to be omitted or
changed clearly marked to show any such omissiori or change and to which shall
be attached a copy of this ordinance, and filed with the City Clerk to be
open to' inspectien and available to the public at all reasonable hours. The
Municipal Judge and all administrative departments of the City charged
with enfercement of this erdinance shall be supplied, at cost of the City,
such number of official copies of such Zoning Ordinance for the City of
Bel Aire. Knasas. similarly marked. as may be deemed expedient.
Section 2.
ZONING MAP.
(a) .The locatien boundaries of the zones and districts created by
the zening ordinance for the City of Bel Aire, Kansas, Edition of 1982,
hereinabeve incorporated be reference, are hereby established as defined and
shown en the map entitled "Zening District MaPI Bel Aire, Kansas" dated
April 19, 1982, prepared by the Planning and Zonifig Commission of Bel Aire,
Kansas, and signed by the Mayor and City Clerk and hereinafter referred to
as the "Zoning Map".
(b) The Zoning Map abeve referred to and all netations thereen are
hereby incorporated by reference and made a part of the zening ordinance
incorperated by reference in Section 1 of this ordinance.
(c) The zoning map shall be marked "Official Copy as Incorporated
by the Code of the City of Bel Aire, Kansas" and filed in the office of the
City Clerk to' be open to inspection and available to' the public at all
reasenable hours.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full ferce after
its publication in the Official City Newspaper.
Passed and adopted by the City Council this laM day ef May, 1982.
