AUTHORIZING PAYMENT - A.J. FUSCO, ESQ.
WHEREAS, pursuant to NJ.S.A.40A: 14-149.1 municipalities are obligated to be
responsible for attorneys fees for Police Officers charged with criminal offenses; and
WHEREAS, Deputy Chief Dennis Nagy was indicted and tried by the Middlesex
County Prosecutor's Office and said charges were dismissed by a jury;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council hereby
authorizes the payment of $75,000.00 to A.J.Fusco, Esq, upon receipt ora release
~om Deputy Nagy and A. J. Fusco, Esq. for all claims for counsel fees for all criminal
matters and administrative claims.
Adopted this 6th day of February, 1997
and certified as a true copy of the
original on February 7, 1997.
