Dear Anne:
I wish to express my interest in the Library Board member position. As a teacher
in the public school system for 30 years I consider myself possessing the
qualifications needed for this position. Cooperative, reliable, responsible are
qualities which I have been described as possessing.
I have a strong interest in the public library system and use it frequently. It is
important to me to give back to those institutions which have given so much to
me and my family. I have lived in McCall for over 25 years within the city limits .
The library has been an important part of my life.
I am a current member of the Friends of the Library and have been for the past
three years. A strong working relationship has been established between the two
entities and I feel I can maintain that connection.
I hope that you will give consideration to my application.

SUMMARY STATEMENT:
We would like to invite Lola Elliot to join us as a member of the Library Board of Trustees.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Appoint Lola Elliot to serve a term on the Library Board of Trustees, such term set to
expire in October of 2018.
