A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO THE EMPLOYEES OF THE TOWN OF
GULF STREAM FROM THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM
WHEREAS, Hurricane Andrew did threaten to strike in the
general vicinity of the Town of Gulf Stream; and
WHEREAS, the Palm Beach County Department of Emergency
Management did order an evacuation of all coastal areas within
Palm Beach County, including the Town of Gulf Stream; and
WHEREAS, the employees of the Town of Gulf Stream did
respond to the impending threat in an expeditious and
professional manner by securing Town facilities and safely
evacuating the residents; and
WHEREAS, the entire Commission on behalf of itself and the
Town wishes to extend its appreciation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COMMISSION OF
THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
THAT THIS RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION BE EXTENDED TO:
