McCall Public Library Board of Trustees Meeting
Tue., Dec. 6, 2011
Library Conference Room, 4:00 P. M.
Call to order : 4 p.m.
Attendance : Nancy Butler, Jamie Bell, Ed Hershberger, Lynn Lewinski, Jacki Rubin and Anne Kantola.
Minutes : Approved as corrected.
Director's Report :
Budget and Stats : Within budget.
Staff : All are doing well.
Friend's Report : No meeting this month. Nancy feels that the new tree festival concept will be a good
event for the local businesses.
Old Business :
Policy manual: We continue to review and edit at each meeting. Anne is looking into the
changes made last meeting concerning the letter to Library Director.
The Board approved changes of draft revisions per last meeting.
Board member New Term: Jacki s renewal was approved by Council and we are very glad to
have her continued participation.
Film Society Update: The first film will be Jan. 3 at the Alpine Playhouse. Fund raising is going
well, films are ordered, the calendar set and posters ready to go out next week. It is exciting to see this
new program start up.
Smithsonian: The exhibit was well received. We are glad we could give support to this exhibit.
New Business :
Invitation: A very nice gesture of thanks by the Staff to show appreciation for help with
shelving and library projects to volunteers and supporters.
Evaluations: The Library Board will review Anne at our next meeting.
Inter -Library Loan Policy: Discussion and review of draft to be made at the next meeting.
Adjournment : 4:50 p.m.
Our next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2011, at 4:00 P. M.
