A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AT 66 SOUTH
16th STREET
WHEREAS the zoning map designates real estate at 66 South 16th Street
as R-3 Special Use for a tax office, and
WHEREAS it is desirable to change the zoning designation to R-3 Special
Use for a computer office.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the zoning designation of the real estate at 66 South 16th Street, is hereby
changed to R-3 Special Use for a computer office.
Passed and adopted this day of ((�_ , —) 1997, by the Common Council
of the City of Richmond, Indiana.

Dear Mr. Dickman:
Please advise the members of Common Council that the Richmond Advisory Plan
Commission conducted a public hearing, Thursday, September 25, 1997, on the
petition of Kauchers Insurance & Tax Service, Inc., owner; Mark E. Mader, agent;
requesting an amendment to a Special Use District classification in the R-3 One -to -
Eight Family Residence District for a computer consultant office, located at 66 South
16th Street, Richmond, Indiana.
Notices were delivered to seven surrounding property owners, with one favorable
comment and no unfavorable comments returned to this office.
The Plan Commission voted 9 in favor, with none opposed, and 2 absent, to
recommend the approval of Ordinance No. 99-1997.

This ordinance relates to amending the zoning map at 66 South 16th Street as R-3 One to eight
family residence district to R-3 Special Use for a computer office.
The ordinance should be referred to Plan Commision for public hearing at its meeting on
September 25, 1997.
The ordinance should be back to Council for second reading on October 6, 1997.
