McCall Public Library
Board Meeting
September 23, 1999
4.00p.m. at the McCall Donnelly Elementary School Library
1: Call To Order:
]i. Attendance: Clyde Archer, Mary Clemmer, Marilyn Summers
Gloria Cantrell, Ray Venable
111. Minutes: Skipped -will read at next meeting.
IV. Bills: Approved.
Staff Report: Circulation Up.
VI. Old Business:
A.Travelogue. Starts November 4th. 7:00 p.m.
B. Long Standing Bear. Great turnout, we would love to have him back.
C. Back Room. Coming Right along
D. ADA. Getting close to being done.
E. Cleaning. Things are looking much better.
*F. Automation. Board met at school library and Amy Davis and Pat
Matthews went over the Schools Automated system
called Alexandria explaining the features offered by
this program. The Board and staff are looking at
automating the library.
G. Membership Drive. Great program at the Play house with a great turnout.
H. Summer Reading Program was slow starting but turned out great.
VII. New Business:
A. Vacations.
B. Evaluations.
C Pam Wannacot.
Board
Gloria will be gone two weeks in October.
Board will meet Sept. 30th to do Gloria's evaluation.
New staff member doing a great job.
D. Vacancies/Appointments/Archer/Baker.
VIII. Adjournment: 5:45 p.m.

Ed Hersgold, Ed Hersburger, Linda Sherrill and
Dave Byars have voiced interest in being on the library board
no nominations or motions were made at this time.
This position should be filled before October 21 st Library
meeting.
