Board Meeting
May 25, 1999
4.00p.m.
I: Call To Order:
II. Attendance: Ray Venable, Susie Reddick, Tracy Baker, Mary
Clemmer, Clyde Archer and Gloria Cantrell
III. Minutes: Minutes read. A correction was made to add Ray
Venable's name to attendance record.
IV. Bills: Approved.
V. Staff Report: Circulation up one month down next.
VI. Old Business:
A.Travelogue. South Africa -very successful.
B. Horace Axell/Nez Perce Elder. Very successful 95 people attended.
C. Back RwnL Back room will be available Wednesday June 9th
according to Bob Peckham.
D. Snow Removal. Gene arranged to have the snow removed from the
library roof.
F. Spring Cleaning. Delayed until July?
VII. New Business:
A. ADA/Bathrooms. Gloria is getting bids on the bathrooms to bring them
up the ADA requirements.
B. Meeting Room Policy/Wording. Board was advised of policy language and ask to preview
wording of all library policies and bring ideas, changes,
suggestions to September Library Board Meeting.
C. Membership Drive. Friends membership drive will be September Nth.
D. Marge McCabe. Marge has accepted a part time job at Ponderosa Park
therefore she will not be available to fill in when needed.
E. Page. Do to Marge's arrangement we will need to fill our page
position. Board agreed unanimously
