Board Meeting
April 23, 1998
4.00p.m.
I: Call To Order:
II. Attendance: Tracy Baker, Mary Clemmer, Clyde Archer, Marilyn Summers &
Gloria Cantrell.
III. Minutes: Read and approved.
IV. Bills: Approved.
V. Staff Report: Circulation down.
VI. Old Business:
A. Web page. Tracy will help us with this. Seeing as Mr. Burton will not be
available.
D. Internet Policy/Meeting Room/Satellite Policies.
Board and staff will continue working on updates, additions and
corrections.
E. Anniversary Sale. Friends sale was very successful and they want us to
to be thinking of what the library needs.
G. National Library Week. Going well so far with Master Gardeners coming in
Friday.
H. Log Cabin News. Still no schedule from Barbara Herrick. Gloria will contact
and see what is happening.
VII. New Business:
A. Summer Reading Program. June 9, will be beginning of Ride a wild Tale.
B. Budget schedule. Jim has put together a schedule and we will work
together with council, board and staff.
C. Vacations Sue Ann will be leaving in May for sons graduation and Gloria
will be gone end of May to help mother after minor surgery.
D. Book Club. Doing well and Gloria is planning on starting an evening
Club also.
