March 19, 1998

Approved.
Circulation down.
VI. Old Business:
A. Armchair Travelogue.
C Web page.
.Ghost towns of Colorado/very successful
Gloria will get with Ted and add library info. to city
web page.
D. Internet Policy. Board will go over policy and return with ideas,
suggestions, etc.
F Meeting room policy/update. Board is amending and updating meeting room
policy.
We added a satellite policy to our collection
development policy.
Gloria is still waiting to hear for Barbara Herrick
about spring and summer programs.
Jim and Brian meet with library board and discussed
budget concerns.
VII. New Business:
A Employee Evaluation/Brian. Gloria meet with Brian and he advised Gloria to
look at next years budget and keep in contact with
him and city council about any ideas, and or concerns
the library may have.
B. Meridian Meeting. Gloria would like board and friends to visit the
Meridian Library. They have put together a great
library and some wonderful programs.
C. Women in History. AAUW and the High School put on a great program
about women in history.
D Anniversary Sale. April 18, will be the library's annual anniversary
fund raiser. Newspapers have been notified and
posters have been made. Hopefully we will have the
goods.
E. National Library Week. April 19-25 is National Library Week, fun things
have been planned for this week.
F. Puppet Workshop. Pat Zenzic will put on a special puppet workshop for
us in June.
