Board Meeting
November 20, 1997

I: Call To Order:
II. Attendance: Marilyn Summers, Clyde Archer,
Susie Reddick, Mary Clemmer, Gloria
Cantrell.
III. Minutes: Will be read at next meeting.
IV. Bills: Approved.
V. Staff Report: Gloria went over Library Flooding.
Circulation up for October '97.
VI. Old Business:
A. Vacancy. Council approval of Susie Reddick.
B. First Book Workshop. Date set for November 25,
4:00p.m. workshop by Lynn Allen
from PTV.
C. Armchair Travelogue. November 6, great turn out,
next program December 4, 7:00p.m.
D. Scanner/Web page. Gloria had info. on cost etc. from
Alpha Omega and from Dark-Son
Productions.
E. Large Print. Gloria has received 25 LP books from
Chivers, they are on the shelves and
they are circulating well.
VII. New Business:
A. Jenny. Jenny will be leaving and has given
her notice to Mary Jane, Gloria has
yet to hear from her. (She has ex-
cepted a job at Meridian Library)
B. Computer Software/Educational programs. Gloria
has purchased educational software
for young adults. Also Susie Marshall
has donated money to the library to
purchase more children's educational
software.
C. AAUW Newsletter. Gloria shared newsletter with
board. Great article about Susan B.
Anthony program held at library.
D. Idaho State Library Newsletter. Article about
Pumphouse.
VIII. Adjournment: 5:00p.m.
