Board Meeting
January 23, 1997

I: Call To Order:
II. Attendance: Tracy Baker
Susie Reddick
Clyde Archer

III. Minutes: Minutes approved.
IV. Bills: Bills approved.

V. Staff Report: Circulation up.
VII. Old Business:
A. State Report. Letter stating our annual report has
been received and we are now eligible for all state
grants.
B. Log Cabin. A great turn out, first program will be
February 14. Valentine Readings 10:00 a.m. at the
Library.
C. Christmas Program. 52 Children had a great time,
and we have received several great notes, pictures
from parents and children, was a very fun night.
D. Carts. We will be adding more to our book carts at
the Hospital, Senior Center, and Payette Care
Center.
iiiiv E. Computers. Gloria is still working on purchasing 2
new computers for the library.

VIII. New Business:
A. Teleconference. A How to set up your own home page
teleconference will be shown at the library January
28th at 10:00a.m.
B. Grant. The Friends received a $500.00 grant to
purchase children's books.
C. Friends/Winter Carnival/Sea Kayaking.
The Friends will have their annual Book Sale during
winter carnival. And on January 21st. they had a
slide presentation by Judson Zenzic on Sea
Kayaking. (45 people had a great time)
D. Book Club. The Library has started a Book Club.
There are 12 members and they will discuss their
first book on January 30 at 10:00 at the Library.
