will ask friends about purchasing one.
Old Business:
A Library Policies_ Gloria will print out current policy

C. Card Cat. Gloria discussed the situation with the CC.
1?. Staff Meeting. Cancelled
h Healthwise. Meeting May 2, was successful.
H National Library Week. Wan very yuccensfui. Library
log on was standing room only.

l Family Affair. Very successful. Friends did a great

I. Caldwell Meeting- May loth. Great meeting about
c‘ ,tomer service, Also how we can handle touchy
situations and make everyone fell comfortable.
Vi I. New Business:
Dan Cambridge. Dan Morris spoke about the
possibility of the library handling the main frame of
a computer field and the services he can offer us and
the community. He will present us with a written
d ;cument of what his intentions and liabilities would
be.We will look them over and have Mr. Burton
r t tview them and see if this is indeed a possibility.
I;. Citizens -Volunteers. A workshop at Shore Lodge on
May 18th, 4 Board members plan to attend.
C Friends -Speakers June/September. June we will
sponsor Charles Lauderback from the Dept,. of
Theater Arts, who will speak about the Mining Camps
of Idaho. September the Friends and Library will
Sponsor Rob McIntyre from the School of Music who
will share with us information on the Pioneers of
Boise Basin, in period clothing. (these programs will
held at the Alpine Playhouse.
lb (seat Books. Marti Keene will help us start a
}grogram of great books for middle age children.

IV. Bills: Approved.
V. Staff Report: Possible computer virus.
Gloria talked about a young adult book club
maybe Goosebumps or American Girl type.
VI. Old Business:
A. Library Policies. Gloria has updated and completed.
C. Card Cat. Will not work, it is to large.
D. Staff Meeting. Cancelled.
E. Healthwise. Meetings went well.
F. National Library Week. Very successful. People
were standing in line to log on.
Was great.
G. Gloria/Evaluation. Board will continue to work on it.
II. Family Affair. At Middle School, very successful.
I. Caldwell Meeting May loth. Talked about patron
service, and handling problems.
VII. New Business:
A. Dan Cambridge. Spoke to Board about using library
for housing internet main frame.
We will wait for his proposal and
go from there.
B. Citizens -Volunteers. Meeting at Shore lodge, May 18.
C. Friends -Speakers June/September. Charles
Lauderback will speak about Early
Idaho Mining Camps on June18
and Rob McIntire will present a
program on pioneers of the Boise
Basin.
D. Great Books. Marti Keen has volunteered to do a
Childrens Great Books Program.(middle school age)
