Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 4:00 P.M. January 12, 1995. 2. Roll Call: Susie Reddick, Clyde Archer, Marilyn Summers, Faye Kerr, and Staff member Gloria Cantrell answered the roll call. 3. Minutes: Corrected and approved. 4. Bills: Approved. 5. Staff Report: A. The financial report was explained and accepted. B. Circulation -Total circulation for October 1994 was 5,201. Total circulation for November 1994 was 5,111. Total circulation for December 1994 was 4,848. C. Satellite -Demonstration was given by Gloria to the trustees present. D. "Let's Talk About It" a project sponsored by the Idaho State Library, a reading & discussion series, which will begin Monday the 23rd of January, there will be 5 sessions every other Monday through March 20th. Stuart Everett from B.S.U. will be the first guest speaker. E. Back door -the back door was rain damaged & will be repaired. F. Coloring Contest -Sponsored by On the Wild Side Gallery and McCall Public Library. Top prize determined by Friends of the Library. This is a promotion of Dean Morriseys new childrens book "Ship of Dreams", the deadline is Jan. 31st. G. Planned Parenthood wants to meet at the Library, this was tabled, Susie will get in touch with woman who called about holding the meeting. F. New Copy Machine -Arrived and is running great. 6. Old Business: A. Arthur Hart -On November 17th, 72 people filled the Library for Arthur Harts photo presentation of Barns in Idaho. B. National Childrens Week -This was the week of November 14th Special program, books were set up in the Library and covered by the local newspaper. C. Satellite -The first session will be Sat., January 14th. D. Internet -Received grant for $3,691.00. Copies of the letter received by Gloria were given to each Trustee from the Idaho State Library Board explaining the program. E. Christmas Program-52 children enjoyed the program, Gloria later sent cards to each child who attended. Page 2 Lib"rary Minutes of January 12, 1995-Continued. 7. New Business: A. Legislative Day -Gloria will attend Legislative Day on January 19th. B. Internet -Workshop set for January 27th, there will be one in March and later in the summer. C. Trustees -Satellite Pragram•Satellite Program has been set for February 25th, 10:00 to 12:00. D. Computer Class -Gloria will attend one day (8 hour) class at Brundage Office Supply, this is a class on Intermediate Windows. E. Literacy Grant -Looking into reinstating Literacy Computer' Program, haven't heard from anyone yet, the money is to train volunteers for the future in the community. F. Friends Book Sale -Book sale coming up. Setup will be February 1st at 10:00 A.M. Local sale day on the 2nd of February. Sale starts on Saturday the 4th of Feb., from 11:00 to 4:00. 8.
