McCall Public library Board Meeting
January 27, 1994
9:00 a.m.
I. ATTENDANCE: Bob Scoles
Faye Kerr
Mary Clemmer
Marilyn Summers
Janzi Frandin
Gloria Cantrell
II. CALL TO ORDER:
III. MINUTES: Read and Approved
IV. BILLS: Approved and signed
V. STAFF REPORT: A tour of the library
VI. OLD BUSINESS:
A. Furnace will be installed January 29th and 30th.
B. Marilyn Summers reappointed to library Board and
letters of appreciation to all other applicants.
C. 50 children attended the Christmas program and
fun was had by all.
VII NEW BUSINESS:
A. Gloria explained the moving of the books and how
the Friends and Volunteers made it fun.
B. Friends want to put storage space and finish the
back room.
C. Friends had a very successful book sale ($400.)
D. Marilyn read letter from Joan Perry and the board
composed letter appreciating her concern and
explained library procedures.
E. A $3,900. resource sharing grant with Cascade
has been received from the State library. Start
up date is February 1, 1994.
F. A Thank You from Frank Nelson State Data Coordinator
thanking Gloria for timely reports.
G. Gloria shared information from the annual State Report.
