SEPTEMBER 22, 1994
9:00 A.M.
I. ATTENDANCE: Faye Kerr
Marilyn Summers
Mary Clemmer
Gloria Cantrell
II. CALL TO ORDER:
III. MINUTES: Read and approved.
IV. BILLS: Approved.
V. STAFF REPORT: A very busy summer. Many compliments.
New library signs need to be ordered.
A barn display will be held at the library
November 18. A basque display and slides
show was held at the library September 9.
22 people were in attendance.
VI. OLD BUSINESS:
IV. NEW BUSINESS:
A. Friends: Membership drive now in
progress. A great tea for Clay Morgan.
Brats and Beer was very successful. Back
room is coming along.
B. Library Vacancy: Susie Reddick was
nominated by Marilyn Summers to fill the
vacancy of Janzi Franden, seconded by
Mary Clemmer. Faye made motion to appoint
Clyde Archer to fill Bob Scoles position,
seconded by Marilyn Summers. (Copy of
Janzies letter of resignation attached)
C. Summer Reading: 45 children participated
in this years summer program.
D. Satellite: Gard Hanks of the Idaho State
Library notified Gloria that she has re-
ceived the Satellite Grant. Monies will
be available in January 1995.
A. Budget: Gloria went over budget with
board, she is now waiting to see final
budget.

B. Displays: We need a new display rack
It would allow all groups to have an area to
leave their pamphlets/etc.
C. Floyd Loomis: Floyd will do a reading and
signing party November 21 at 7:00 p.m.
D. Christmas Program: The Friends and Library
Staff are already working on Christmas
Nights Program.
E. Arts and Humanities: The Arts and
Humanities have ask Gloria to represent the
Library on their advisory board. Gloria
feels this is very important and ask for
support of the board including they attend
meetings also, the board agreed to help.
F. Therapy -Surgery: Gloria has been having
therapy since early June due to an accident
at the Library and she may have to have
surgery.
VIII. ADJOURNMENT: Meeting adjourned 9:30 a.m.
