McCall Public Library Board Meeting

I. ATTENTANCE: Bob Scoles

II. CALL TO ORDER:
III. MINUTES: Read and Approved
IV. BILLS: Signed and Approved
V. STAFF REPORT: Circulation down but Library very busy.
VI. OLD BUSINESS:'
A. Furnace is ordered and will be
installed by the 20th of December.
Carpet has been ordered.
B. Board Appointment: Faye made motion
Marilyn Summers be re -appointed to
the library Board, Mary Seconded. The
Board ask Council to take action.

VII. NEW BUSINESS:
A. Puppet Show was a great success and Friends
will do one for Library Nite Out Dec 23.
B. Nov 15th=19th was National Book Week the
Library had book displays and Puppet Show.
C. Painters are lined up and library will be
closed the first 2 weeks in January ( bids
were received)
D. Gloria had a meeting in Caldwell Nove 12th
to discuss the success of the video and
cassette circuits.
E. A page was hired (Nicole Baxter) there were
10 applicants. Niki is doing well so far.
,The Circulation of Records has decreased so
the board suggest selling them to the friends.
Board ask Gloria to take proper steps to'
to purchase from City, she will send list -to
City Council.
G. There is a good chance the Library gill receive
a Telecommunications Satellite Dist% Gloria
will know later after the first of the year.
