MCCALL PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD MEETING
OCTOBER 22, 1993
9:00 a.m.
I. ATTENDANCE: Marilyn Summers
Mary Clemmer
Faye Kerr
Bob Scoles
Gloria Cantrell
II. CALL. TO ORDER:
III. MINUTES: Read and Approved
IV. BILLS: Signed and approved
V. STAFF REPORT: Gloria talked about display case and Arts and
Humanities involvement.
VI. OLD BUSINESS:
VII. NEW BUSINESS:
A. In house circulation up.
B. Gloria is receiving written bids and working
with furnace men on new furnace.
C. Money was budgeted for carpet and Gloria is
looking at possibilities.
D. Friends had a prosperous membership drive
and the logo contest was well represented
by all ages and was a true success.
A. Officers were elected with Mary Clemmer
appointed president and Janzi secretary.
B. Marilyn Summers board appointment has
expired. Marilyn is interested in another
term and board would like to see her re-
appointed. We will put notice in paper of
vacancy, when names are gathered we will
turn list over to Council.
C. Meeting room has been very busy and we are
finding people are really enjoying the quiet
area.
D. The 1993-94 Budget allowes for more book;,
cost of living and library repairs and up-
dates.
