An Ordinance relating to fire protection.
TBIe Board of Trustees of the City of Beaumont do ordain as follows: -
Section 1. of I3eauriont
Should a fire break out in the Cityi1, shall be the
duty of every person, firm or'corporation using water to 7promptly close
all hydrants and keep the water turned off until the fire`is extinguish-
ed; and the City Marshall or any other person shall have the right to
enter upon any lot or lands within the City limits for th purpose of
closing any hydrant that may be open during such a contini
ency.
Section 2. Any person, firm or corporation guilty of a violation
of this ordinance shall he deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be
punished by a fine not to exceed *10.00 for each offense..
Section 3.
This ordinance shall be published once in the
