The Board of Trustees of the City of Beaumno t do ,,rdain as
follows: -
Section 1. The Recorder of the City of Beaumont shall have the bower
and authority to provide a penalty of days work on the publ .c
roads of the City of } auriont in lieu of a fine or imprison-
ment at his discretion. A days work on said public roads
shall be considered as in lieu of the sum of two dollaro and
fifty cents, and shall be reckoned accordingly.
