The board of Trusters of the city of neauiaio it do ordain
as fc,lirws.
Section 1. Allcurbs,siclewali:s,gutters and crossings hereafter
constructed in the city of ° eaur,ont shall he in iccordance and
confomi.ty with the specifications now on file is the city
clerks office,in the city of ?'eaumont.
Section 2. Any person,firm or corporation hereafter constructing
altering or repairing any si.dewal.k,curb,gutter or crossing in
the city of beauraont shall so construct,alter er repair the
same in conformity with the specifications on file with the
city clerk of the city. of "ea.umant and a failure er refusal so
to do shall be deemed a misdemeancr andupon conviction thereof
shall be punished in the sum of not Less than ' /,O°fine nor
core than 5ofor each offense and the wort; done and constructed
in violation ef this ordinance shall Fe demolished or abated
by the street superintendent or otter person so authorized by
the board of trustees of said city.
Section <1. The city clerlA shall certify to the rassa ;e of this
ordinance and cause the same to be posted in three public places
in the city of Peaun,cnt, to -wit :The post office;' he ?ioard of Tradc
roo;ms;and the hank buildi g and thirty days after its adoption
t shall be in full force and effect.
