The Board of Trustees of the City of Beaumont do or-
dain as follwas:
Section 1. That a special election of the qualified
electors of said City is hereby celled and ordered tc be held
in the City of Beaumont on ,... ... the day of

the p positions and questions of incurring a bonded indebtedness
of said City in the aegregate to the amount of Ten Tr:ousand Dol-
lars ($10,000.00), exclusive of interest.
Section 2. T.-kat the objects and purposes for which
said indebtedness is proposed to be incurred are:
(a) To light tale streets of said City witil electricity

Said proposed iriprove-
meats shall be suhmi tted in separate propositions on tale bai.Lot,
so that the electors may vote separately thereon, tnaz is to say
that bonds for street linhting shall be submitted as one propos-
ition and bonds for said grading and otherwise improving of streets
srkill be submitted as another proposition.

Section 3. That the rate of interest to be paid on
said indebtedness shall be the sum of six per centum (69) per
annum, to be paid semi - annually.
Section 4. Said bonds shall be issued in tae amounts
of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) each, and sikill be payable as
follows: One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) in the year 119, and
One Tnousand Dollars ($1,000.00) annually thereafter until all
of said bonds so authorized by said election shall be paid.
There shall be raised annually by taxation for an inter-
est and sinking fund to meet the of said bonds, and in-
terest, as the same severally mature, the sum of Two Huzared
Dollars ($200.00) per annum on account of principal in the
years 1914, 19151 1916, 1917, 1918, and thereafter tine Sum of
One Tnousand Dollars ($1,000.00) annually for principal and a
furtner sufficient sum eaca year cox.,Lraeneing with the year 1914
to :meet the annual interest payable on said bonds until all of
said bonds, principal and interest, shall be paid.
Section 5. The polls of said election viill ')e open
at six o'clock a. m. of said day and close at seven o'clock

six dais a week in said City of Beaumont, this ordinance. shall be
publis ed one insertion each week for two succeeding weeks in
