ORDINANCE NUMBER
AN ORDIANCFE, FILING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY N1 CEISSARY
TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION UPON THE TAMABLE PROPERTY F )R THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT FOR THE CURRENT YEAR.
THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES of the City of Beaumont do ordain
as follows:
Section 1. The amount of money necessary to be
raised by taxation upon the taxable property in the Gity of
Beaumont as a revenue to carry on the various departments of
the City of Beaumont and to pay the bonded and interest indebted-
ness of the City of Beaumont for the surrent year, is hereby
fixed at Three Thousand One "undred and Fifty-four and 60 %100
(. 31=4.60) Dollars for the general fund, and Six Hundred Forty -fo
(f 44.00) Dollars for interest and payment on bonds.
Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared
to be an emergency ordinance and to be necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace:, health anal. safety,
and the facts constituting its urgency are hereby stated and
declared to be as follows, to -wit:

to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be
published once in the Gateway Gazette, a newspaper of Reneral
circulation, published and circulated in the City or Beaumont,
and shall be in full force and effect inuned.iately.
