Section 1.
Tile amount, of money necessary to be raised by taxation upon
the taxable property in the City of Beavrlont as a revenue to carry
on t e various de aertmenta of the City of Beal_;.r ont and to pay the
bonded and interest indebtedness of the City of Leaumont for the
current ;,rear is heroby fixed at �t'our Thousand_ Four Hundred Thirty -
nine and 60/100 Dollars ( °;:1, , 439 . GO) , for the - oneral fund, and
Five Thousand Four Hundred Fifty -seven and 50100 Dollars
for interest and pa;rront on bonds.
Section 2.
This ordinance is hereb;;T declared to be an erler�-�enclT ordirar.ce
and to be necessary for the i. r 6diate preservation of the public
health, peace and safety, and the 'acts constituting.; its ur, oncy
are herJ -):7 stated and declared to be as follows, to- wit:
It is required by law that an ordinance be passed fixinn the
amount of money nece c ary to be raised by ta,iation upon the taxal le
property of the City of Beaumont as a revenue to carry on the various
departi:ients of the City and to pay its bonded or other indebtedness
for the current year, and that no later than the last Tuesday in
Au ^:ust tl:e rate of tax to be Fixed; there will not sufficient time
