AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT AMENDING ORDINANCE #72
RELATING TO BUSINESS LICENSES.
The City Council of the City of Beaumont, does ordain as
follows:
Section 1. A new section to be numbered 82 is hereby added
to ordinance #72 of the City of Beaumont to read
as follows:
Section 82. In addition to the license fees herein
imposed, any person, firm or corpora-
tion failing to pay any such _license
within ten days after the same becomes
due shall pay ten percent (10%) in addition thereto
as a penalty for failure to pay on time.
Section 2. The Clerk shall certify to the passage and adop-
tion of this ordinance and shall cause the same
to be published once in the Beaumont Gazette, a newspaper of
general circulation, printed, published and circulated in the
city of Beaumont, and thirty days from and after its adoption,
the same shall be in full force and effect.

the foregoing ordinance,being ordinance of tke Pity of Beaumont -!L 108
was introduced and read at a regular meeting of the of said City Council,
duly held on the 16" day of August, 1926, and that the same was duly
passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council on the
23" day of Gugust 1928, by the following vote
Ayes.: Trustees: Conine, Brown, :itcheltree, Cross, Bogart.
Noes: none. Absent Trustees: None.
