AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 72 OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE TO
PROVIDE FOR THE LICENSING OF BUSINESSES, TRADES,
PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS CARRIED ON IN THE
CITY OF BEAU:ONT, RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA,
ETC." ADOPTED AUGUST 15, 1919.
TEE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUIONT DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Sec. 1. That section / , of Ordinance No. 72 of
the City of Beaumont, entitled "AN ORDINANCE TO
PROVIDE FOR THE LICENSING OF BUSIESSES, TRADES,
PROFESSICNS AND OCCUPATIONS CARRIED ON IN THE CITY
OF BEAULONT, RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, ETC."
adopted August 15, 1919, is hereby amended to read
as follows: "For every variety store or notion
store, $3.50 per quarter."
Sec. 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
passage and adoption of this ordinance and cause
the same to be published once in the Beaumont Gazette,
a: newspaper of general circulation, printed, published
and circulated in the City of Beaumont, and thereupon
and thereafter it shall immediately be in full force
and effect.
