AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 117 OF THE CITY OF BEAU-
MONT AND PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF SAID ORDINANCE NO. 117
INSOFAR AS SAID ORDINANCE REQUIRES THE BUILDING OF CLASS "A"
CONSTRUCTIONS ON SIXTH STREET EAST TO THE CITY LIMITS FROM
THE INTERSECTION OF MAPLE AVENUE AND SIXTH STREET.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Adds a new Section to be known as Sub -section
"c" of SECTION III. of Ordinance No. 117 of the
City of Beaumont, which shall read as follows:
(c) On Sixth Street easterly to the City limits from the
intersection of Sixth Street with Maple Avenue in said City
of Beaumont, there may be erected buildings other than of
class "A" construction provided said building has as its
outer walls a frame structure covered throughout with metal
lathe on both the inside and outside of said frame structure
and said outer surface of said metal lathe is covered with
stucco surface not less than on8-half inch in depth, and the
roof of which building is covered with incombustible material.
Section 2. This Ordinance whall not be construed so as to
invalidate any other ordinance or ordinances of
the City of Beaumont, State of California, which are not in
direct conflict herewith nor construed so as to repeal or
change any section of Ordinance No. 117 except as to struc-
tures built on Sixth Street in the City of Beaumont east of
the intersection of Maple Avenue and Sixth Street.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this ordinance and cause the same to
be published once in the Beaumont Gazette, a newspaper of
general circulation, printed, published, and circulated in
the City of Beaumont, and iducmacsgmmxmatxWlammoatsm it shall
lasncestkadurabe in full force and effect thirty days after
its adoption.

Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of
this Crdinence andcause the came to published once in the
Beeumont Gezette, a newspaper of geiprel circulation printed,published,
end circulated in tee City cf Beeumont, and it shall be in full force
and effect thirty Cy s efter its edoption.
