ORDINANCE NO. 138
AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE RATE OR COMPENSATION TO BE COLLECTED FOR
THE USE OF WATER IN THE CITY OF BEAUMONT ENACT}D IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE PROVISION OF ARTICLE XIV. SECTION I. OF THE CONSTITUTION
OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the minimum rate for water used for domestic
purposes in the City of Beaumont shall be the sum of
One Dollar and Twenty-five cents per month.
Section 2. That domestic water shall include all water used for
the sprinkling of lawns and gardens and delivered
through house meters.
Section 3. That each meter shall be entitled to delivery of One
Thousand Cubic Feet through it each month for the
minimum rate herein above provided.
Section 4. That for each One Hundred Cubic Feet over and above
the delivery provided for in section three, the com-
pany shall be allowed to charge the sum of Five cents.
Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Ordinance and cause the same to be published once in
the Beaumont Gazette, a weekly newspaper in general circulation
in said City.

I, Frank Richardson, the duly elected, qualified, and
acting Clerk of the City of Beaumont, California, do hereby certify
that the foregoing ordinance was regularly introduced and read on
the 8th day of February, 1933, and was adopted by the City Council
of said City of Beaumont at its meeting held on the 15th day of
February, 1933, by the following vote:
