The City Council of the City of :Beaumont, California, does
ordain as follows
Section 1. The Chief of Police of the City of Beaumont
shall receive as compensation for his services the surd of Three
Sollars and Thirty -sive Cents (3.35) per day, the niZnt officer
shall receive Two Dollars and :=Eighty-five Cents (.p2.85) per day;
the traffic officer Two oll rs and Eighty-five Cents (9:.85) per
day and in addition a maximum of lity Cents (30:) per day or use
pi. his motorcycle or car.
section 2. Ordinances Zumber 81 and 128 of the City of
Beaumont are he.reuy repealed.
msec ti on 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
.ciid adoption of this Ordinance and cause the s -me to be ,published
once in the Beaumont Gazette, newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published and circulated ted iri the City of Beaumont, and
thirty days after its adoption it shall be in full force and effect.

of the City Clerk of the City of Beaumont,
being marked and designated as "UNIIC L BUILDING CODE, 1930

code of the City of Beaumont for regulating the erection, con-
struction, enlargement, alteration, repair, moving, removal,
demolition, conversion, occupancy, equipment, use, height, are&
and maintenance of all buildings and/or structures in the City
of Beaumont; providing for issuance of permits and collection
of fees therefor; providing penalties for violation of such
code; declaring and establishing fire zones; and each and all of
the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of
such "Uniform Building Code, 1930 Edition, published May, 1930,
by Pacific Coast .Building Officials' Conference," on file in
the office of the City Clerk are hereby referred to, adopted,
and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this Ordinance,
" 1..C_FT that the r;;ord 'lour" in the tenth line of Section 1601
shall be changed to "three", and the words "and Por" in the fourth
and fifth lines of ,lection 1601 and all of Section 1605 of said
Uniform Building. Code are omitted therefrom.
SECTION TO: A11 Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION N " H SEE: That, the entire incorporated area
of the City of Beaumpnt is hereby
declared to be and is hereby estab-
lished as a lire District and said fire district shall be known
and designated as lire Zones 1, 2 and 3, and each such zone shall
include such territory or portions of said city as illustrated,
outlined and designated on a certain maid on file in the office
of the City Clerk of the City of Beaumont, being marked and
designated as "Fire Zones of the City of Beaumont," which is
hereby adopted as the fire zoning map of the City of Beaumont
for the application of the regulations included in the "Uniform
Building Code, 1930 Edition, published Lay, 1930, by Pacific
Coast Building Officials' Conference."
0 .CTICN POUR: The Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Ordinance and shall cause the
same to be published once in the
Beaumont Gazette, a newspaper of general circulation, printed,
published and circulated in the City of Beaumont and thirty days
after its adoption, shall be in full force and effect.

No. 144 was introduced and read at a regular fleeting of the
City Council of the City of Leaumont, held on the 25th day of
Apri1,1934, and was duly passed and adopted by said Council
at a regular meeting of said Council, duly held on the 2nd.
day of May,1934 by the following vote:
