That Subsection 6 of section V of Ordinance No. 141 entitled " AN ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING FOR THE LICT7ISING OF WKOLESAIE AND RETAIL BUSYNESS, GRADES AND OCCUPATIONS 1 RRIED ON IN SAID CITY ", adopted June 21,1933, be and it is hereby amended by adding thereto the following, to -wit: "(r) CART) TABLES: For every place maintaining or havilig card tables or tables used in playing cardsor similar games, except- ing such place is operated or maintained by a charitable organiza- tion, the sum of 415.00 per quarter for the first table and 45.00 per quarter for each additional table. Section 2. The Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance, and shall cause the same to be published once in the Beaumont Gazette, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Beaumont, California, and thirty days after adoption this ordinance shall be in full force and effect.
