OF THE CITY CLERK AND THE CITY TREASURER, AND REPEALING ALL

TETE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEALUMONT DO ORDALN
AS FOLLOWS:
office of
Section 1. That beginning with the new term of/the
City Clerk commencing April 20th 1936 the compensation of
the City Clerk of the City of Beaumont shall be and it is
hereby fixed at the rate of EIGHTYFIVE Dollars (t85.00) per
month.
Section 2. That beginning with the new term of office
of the City Treasuer commencing April 20th 1R36 the compensa-
tion of the City Treasurer of the City of Beaumont shall be
and it is hereby fixed at the rate of TWENTYFIVE Dollars
(25.00) per month.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
of the City of Beaumont in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.

certify that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 162 ,
of the City of Beaumont, was introduced and read at a r•eguular—
meeting of the City Council of said. City, held on the 26thday
of February, 1936, and was pawed and adopted by the said—Council
at a regular meeting of said Council duly held on the 11th day
of March, 1936, by the following vote:
22 AYES: Councilmen Pegram, Mitcheltree and Funk.
23 OES: Councilman None.
ABSENT: Cour:ci In en Rowen ana Whiteside.
