ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT AUTHORIZING CON-
VEYANCE OF LOT 2 OF BLOCK 8 IN THE CITY OF BEAUMONT.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Whereas the City of Beaumont has hereto-
fore acquired tax deed title to the parcel of land hereinafter
described,and said parcel of land hereinafter described is no
longer necessary for public use and convenience, and it is proper,
and necessary to dispose of such title for the income benefit,
and such tax title having been acquired in order to exchange
said lot for conveyance by R. W. Cowden and Dearie Cowden of the
Northerly 34 feet of Lot 1 in Block 8, City of Beaumont Riverside
County, California, for highway purposes, which conveyance has
been made.
Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk be and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute a conveyance
of all the right, title and interest in the City of Beaumont in
and to the following described real property, to -wit:
Lot 2 of Block 8, in the City of Beaumont,
County of Riverside, State of California, as
shown on amended map on file in Book 6, Pages
16 and 17 of Maps, records of San Bernardino
County, California.

Section 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to
the adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be
publishers once in the Beaumont Gazette, a newspaper of general
circulation, printed, published and circulated in the City of
Beaumont, and thirty days after adoption shall be in full force
and effect.

do certify that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. ,
was introduced and read at the regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Beaumont held on the 26th day of September,
1938, and was duly adopted anti passed at a regular meeting of
said City Council held on the 5th day of October, 1936, by the
following vote:
