AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT AUTHORIZING SALE OF
LOTS 14+ and 16 in Block 66, Beaumont.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That whereas Lots i4+ and 16 in Block 66,
Beaumont, Riverside County, California, as shown by Amended
Map recorded in Book 6 pages 16 and 17 of Maps, Records of
San Bernardino County, California, are owned by the City of
Beaumont, and are not needed or necessary for public use and
convenience, and it is proper and necessary to dispose of
such title thereto as the City of Beaumont has for the common
benefit.
Section . That whereas an offer to purchase said
lots has been made by the Beaumont School District, a
political subdivision, at the price of $22.5S per lot plus
paving charges of 250 per running foot frontage, said offer
is hereby accepted., and the City Clerk and Mayor are hereby
authorized to execute a quitclaim deed on behalf of the
City of Beaumont in favor of said Beaumont School District,
a political aubaivision, upon payment of said sum, for said lots
Section 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the pas-
sage and adoption of this Ordinance, and shall cause same to be
published once in the Beaumont Gazette, a newspaper of general
circulation, printed, published and circulated in the City
of Beaumont, and thirty days after adoption it shall be in full
force and effect.

California, do hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance
was introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City
Council of said City held on May 31 1939, and was duly passed
and adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council held
on the 14 day of June, 1939, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen prendergst, Samson_ a Covert.
NOES: Councilmen ,nniz.
ABSENT: Councilmen DePeel and Brown
