ORDINANCE NO
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT AMENDING SUB-
DIVISION (a) OF SECTION 3 OR ORDINANCE NO. 189, OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT ADOPTED DECEMBER 27 1939.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Subdivision (a) of Section 3 of
Ordinanoe No. 189 of the City of Beaumont adopted December
27 1939 be amended to read as follows:
"(a) All connections to sewers, septic tanks and
cesspools shall be of either standard oast iron soil pipe
conneoted together in oakum and molten lead, or first class
vitrified Balt -glazed soil pipe connected together ia4.",
cement mortar."
Section 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause same to be published
once in The Beaumont Gazette, a newspaper of general circu-
lation printed and published in the City of Beaumont,
California, and thirty days after adoption it shall be in
full force and effect.
