AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT DETERMINING
WHAT LANDS ARE NECESSARY AND PROPER TO BE ACQUIRED AND HELD
FOR THE USES AND PURPOSES OF PUBLIC PARKS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Beaumont
does hereby find and determines that the public interest
and necessity requires that the following described lands
be acquired and held by the City of Beaumont for the uses
and purposes of public parka, and that such lands are neces-
sary and proper to be acquired and held for the uses and
purposes aforesaid, to wit:
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, S, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14,
15 and 16 in Block 55'
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, S, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 15
in Block 40;
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, S, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14,
15 and 16 in Block 31;
All in the City of Beaumont, County of Riverside,
State of California., as shown by Amended Map on file in
Book 6 pages 16 and 17 of Maps, Records of San Bernardino
County, California.
Section 2. That the acquisition of such of said
lots as are not already owned by the City of Beaumont by
either purchase or condemnation ie hereby authorized.
Section 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to
the adoption of this ordinance, and cause same to be published
in the Beaumont Gazette, a newspaper of general circulation,
printed and published in the City of Beaumont, and thirty
days after adoption it shall be in full force and effect.
Adopted this 17th.day of July, 1940.

do hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance was presented
and read at a regular meeting of said City Council of said City
duly held on the26 day of June 1940, and was duly
adopted at a regular meeting olid City Council of said City
held on the 17 day of July, 1940, by the following vote:
