THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT DOES Vitainf AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to atop, park or stand any motor vehicle or other vehicle, whether attended or unattended, on any public street or highway within the City of Beaumont, California, where by authority of the City Council of said City the curb thereat is painted red. Section 2. It shall be unlawful for any person to atop, park or stand any motor vehicle or other vehicle on any public street or highway within the City of Beaumont, California, between the hours of six o'clock p. m. and eiz o'clock p.m., except on legal holidays and Sundays, for a period longer than_ thirty minutes at a time, and then only to load or unload passengers or freight, where by authority of the City Council of said City tine curb thereat is painted yellow. Section 3. It shall be unlawful for any person to atop, park or stand any motor vehicle or other vehicle on any public street or highway within the City of Beaumont, California, between the hours of six o'clock a.m. and six o'clock p.m., except on legal holidays and Sundays, for a period longer than thirty minutes at a time, and then only to load or unload passengers, whereby authority of the City Council of said City the curb thereat is painted white. Section u.. It shall be unlawful for any person to stop, park or stand any motor vehicle or other vehicle on any public street or highway within the City of Beaumont, California, between the hours of atx o'clock a.m. and nine o'clock p.tn., except on legal holidays and Sundays, for a period longer than twenty minutes at a time, whereby authority of the—City Council of said City the curb thereat is painted green. Section 5. Parking of vehicles in the City of Beaumont, California, on any public stfeet or highway shall be parallel with and with one side of the vehicle within etighteet inches of the curb, except where angle parking is indiead by painted lines running out from the curb at an angle, whereat parking of vehicles shall be at the angle indicated by such painted lines. sectionSection 6. of 8 Of Beaumont, adopted Septe September hereby repealed. A violation of any of the provisions of this ordinance is hereby declared to be a misdemeanor, and shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $5O.00 or by imprisonment in the City Jail not exceeding 10 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Section 6. The City Clerk shall cause a copy of this ordinanoe to be published once in the Beaumont Gazette, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the City of Beaumont, after certifying to the adoption of this ordinance, and thirty days after adoption it shall be in full force and effect.
