section 1. That the amount of money necessary
to be raised by taxation;upon the taxable property in the
City of 3eaunlont, exclusive of all sums to be raised to
pay the bonded and interest indebtedness of the city of
Beaumont, as a revenue to carry on the various departments
of the City of ueaurlont for the current year, 1943-1944,
is hereby fixed at X271.80;
£.nd the amount to be raised to pay the bonded
and i.ntetest indebtedness of the City of :ueauriont for the
current year 1943-1944 is hereby fixed at 4,3p0,p7;
nd_ the amount to be raised for the Lid-hting
Laintenance rand of the City of .Ceauront for the current
year 1943-1944 is hereby fixed at ,2e,70.20;

Jection '3. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of thi; ordinance, and shall cause the same to
be publi2Led once in the serumont Gazette, a newspaper of
general circulation, printer, published and circulated
in the City ofseaumont, and it shall be in full force and
effect immediately upon its adoption.
