SECTION I
That Ordinance 203, 230, 234, and 236 of the City of
Beaumont, California, be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION II
That Section 5 cf Ordinance 191 of the City of Beaumont
be, and the same is hereby amended to read in its entirety as
follows:
License fees, amounts of: The rate of license fees are
hereby fixed as follows, to -wit:
Contractor, general plumbin,
electrical, etc., . per year . 50.00
(See Section 1-1)
P:ttVIDL, however, license fee for such a contractor, if his prin-
cipal place of business shall be in a comuni ty, location or city
other than the City of Ceaumont, such fee shall be per year ;;100.00.
Kooning house ousiness, 3 to 15

All yearly license Fees shall be payable in full in ad-
vance and shall not, be pro -rated for any portion of a calendar
year, F tuVI ED, however, in the event any person shall pay a yearly
license fee as provided in ection II above, at any time subsequent
to the first day of January of such calendar year, and shall there-
after renew saia license at the commencement of the followinr. calen

license shall oe issued for each seven hundred fifty (750) popula-

Any license herein may be revoked by a majority vote of
the 3eauclont Oity Council whenever in their opinion, ;ooci cause for
saidaction shall have been shown. Any person whose i icense is
considered for revocation shall nave the right to appear before the
b3eau.r:ont City Council at their meeting glen such action is to be
considered, end such person shall be notified thereof' orally or in
writine at least three days prior to said meetinbb of said council.

SECTION VI
Anything to the contrary notwithstanding, existing
license fees sheli be pro -rated to the ef:ective date of this
Ordinance.
-ECTION VII
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and. shall cause the'6ame to be published in the
Beaumont Gazette, a newspaper of general circulation, printed
and published in the City of Beaumont.
