2 AN ORDINkNCE OF THE CITY OF B.EAUMONr, CALIFORNIA, CR:+.ATING AND ESTABLISHING
3 FIRE ZONCS.
4 The City Council of the City of Beaumont does ordain as follows, to-wit:
5 SFCTION 1. That Section 1602 of the Building Code, as adopted by Ordinance
6 No. 229, be and the same is hereby repealed.
7 SDDTION 2. That Fire Zone No. 2 shall be *thin and include all that cer-
8 tain area in the City of Beaumont described as follows, to-wit:
9 BEGINNING at a point in the Westerly City Boundary at its intersec-
tion with the Southerly line of 8th Street; thence easterly along
10 the southerly line of said 8th Street to a point that is distant
at right angles 150 feet from the westerly production of the northerly
11 line of 6th Street; thence southeasterly parallel to and 150 feet
12 northerly from the northerly line of 6th Street tothe Westerly line
of California Avenue ; thence southeasterly to a point on the easterly
line of California Avenue distant north 120 feet from the north line
13 of said 6th Street; thence easterly and parallel to said 6th Street
to the westerly line of Michigan Avenue; thence northeasterly to a
14 point in the east line of said Michigan Avenue, distant 130 feet
north of the north line of 6th Street; thence easterly to a point in
15 the westerly line of Massachusetts :venue, distant 130.3 feet north
16 of the said north line of 6th Street; thence southeasterly to a point
in the east line of Massachusetts Avenue, distant north 120 feet from
17 the north line of said 6th Street; thence east and parallel to said
north line of said 6th Street to the east boundary of the City of

Beaumont; theme south along said east boundary 320 feet to a point
distant south 120 feet from the south line of said 6th Street; thence
19 west and parallel to said south line of 6th Street to a point distant
east 160 feet from the east line of California ivenue; thence south
20 and parallel to said east line of California Avenue 220 feet; thence
southerly to the northeast corner of Lot 29, Block 102; thence south
21 along the east line of said Lot 29 to the north line of 5th Street;
thence west along the north line of said SthStreet to the easterly
22 line of' Grace Avenue; thence northerly to a point in the westerly
line of Grace Avenue, distant southwesterly and at right angles to
23 the south line of 5th Street and 140 feet therefrom; thence north-
vests Ay and parallel to said south line of 5th Street and its 24 pro-
duction northwesterly to a point in the lester]y boundary of the City
of Beaumont ;thence northeasterly along said westerly boundary to the
25 point of beginning.
26 SCTION 3. Fire hone No. 3 shall be within and constitute all other area
27 in said city.
28 SECTION 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances of the City of
29 Beaumont in any manner in confliction with t he provisions of th is ordinance shall
30 be and the same are hereby repealed..
31 PASSED, ADOPT'J and APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Beaumont,
32 alifornia, at a regular meeting of Said City Council held on the 15th day of
