Absent Van Heiden and Werkman. Motion by Buseman, second by Nederhoff to approve the minutes of the March regular meeting. All ayes, carried. Motion by Nederhoff, second by Buseman to approve the Treasurer’s Report for March. All ayes, carried. Motion by Nederhoff, second by Van Hauen to approve the following bills for payment. Alan Fisher and Rod Stahl presented the Public Works report. Andrew Pollard and Nichol Toomire representing Alliant Energy presented information regarding a new substation. The substation will be constructed on the east side of Wellsburg. They will be retiring to old substation. The new substation will provide greater capacity to the community. Motion by Eilderts second by Nederhoff to approve a Resolution 04-2010-1 to approve entering into a Chapter 28E Agreement with TC, L.L.C. for the provision of cable and internet services. Roll call of votes. All Ayes, carried. Dan Blythe was present to discuss renewal of the garbage contract. At this time their will be no increase in rates. Have City Attorney send a letter to Lance Haupt terminating our lease on the sewer plant ag land. The termination to be effective in 2011. This area will be set aside for a burn pile site. Motion by Buseman second by Eilderts to approve Resolution 04-2010-2 to set date for Public Hearing on the proposed sale of city property. All ayes, carried. Motion by Nederhoff second by Buseman to approve liquor license for the Town House Supper Club. All ayes, carried. Motion to adjourn Eilderts second by Buseman.
