HomeMy Public PortalAbout107-1997 - Grant - United Way of Whitewater ValleyORDINANCE NO. 107-1997 AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM THE UNITED WAY OF WHITEWATER VALLEY WHEREAS, the Widowed Persons Service provides services for widowed persons throughout the City of Richmond; and WHEREAS, the Widowed Persons Service has applied to the United Way of Whitewater Valley for a grant to assist with operational expenses. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows: 1. The Widowed Persons Service is hereby authorized to accept grant funding in the amount of Four Thousand Dollars ($4,000.00) from the United Way of Whitewater Valley. Said funds shall be appropriated for operational expenses for the Widowed Persons Service. Passed and adopted this V11- day of `LIC bl, 997, by the Co m on Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
