A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
FROM THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM
WHEREAS, "The Storm of the Century" struck the Town of
Gulf Stream and the surrounding area; and
WHEREAS, the wind and rain associated with said storm
caused a large number of limbs and trees to fall on State Road
AlA, making it impassable; and
WHEREAS, the Gulf Stream Golf Club responded by offering
tools and heavy equipment, as well as its personnel, to assist
in clearing fallen limbs and trees from State Road AlA; and
WHEREAS, said equipment and personnel were used to assist
in clearing State Road AlA in the Town of Gulf Stream during
and after the storm had passed; and
WHEREAS, the entire Commission on behalf of itself and
the Town wishes to extend its appreciation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COMMISSION OF
THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
THAT THIS RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION BE EXTENDED TO:
The Gulf Stream Golf Club
Stanley Carr
FOR THEIR DEDICATED AND DEVOTED SERVICES TO THE TOWN
OF GULF STREAM.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 12th day of April 1993.
