Section 1. That the amount of money necessary to be raised
by taxation upon the taxable property in t lie City of Beaumont,
exclusive. of all sums to be raised to pay the bonded and interest
indebtedness of the City of Beauont , for the General Fund as a
revenue to carry on the various departments of government of the
City of Beaumont for the fiscal year 1949-50 is hereby fixed at

Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Ordinance, end shall cause the same to :;e published once in
the Beaumont Gazette , a newspaper of general circulation, orinted,
published and circul,ed in the City of Beaumont, and it shall be
in ful.L. force and effect immediately upon its adoption.
