3 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,
4 DECLARING ITS ITTEN,TION TO VACATE CERTAIN STREETS
5 IN SAID CITY

7 The City Council of the City of Beaumont does ordain as fol -
8 lows, to wit:
9 Section 1. The City Council of the City of Beaumont, Cali -
10 fornia, under and pursuant to Division 9, Part 3, Streets and
11 Highways Code (Section 8300 et seq.), of the State of California,
12 hereby declares its intention to vacate certain streets, alleys,
13 or other ways, over and across which there is or may be a public
14 easement.
15 Section 2. That said streets, alleys, or other ways, are
16 located in the City of Beaumont, California, and described as
17 follows:
18 (a) That certain unnamed street, alley or other way,
19 over or across any part of the following described real property,
20 to wit:
21 Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot
16, Block 48, as shown by Amended Map of
22 the Town of Beaumont, recorded in Book 6,
rages 16 and 17 of Maps, records of San
23 Bernardino County, California; thence
South along the West line of said Lot and
24 the East line of Elm Avenue, 24.22 feet;
thence southerly on a curve concave to the
25 East with radius of 960 feet and central
angle of 8°, 401, 145.21 feet; thence S
26 8° 401 E, 66.13 feet; thence on a curve
27 concave to the Northeast with radius of
20 feet and central angle of 490 221 30",
28 17.24 feet to the Northeasterly line of
Seventh Street; thence southeasterly
along said northeasterly line of Seventh
29 Street and along the southwesterly line
30 of School House Block" as shown on said
Iaap, to the Southerly corner of said
"School House Block"; thence northeaster -
31 ly alone southeasterly line of mid
"School House Block", to the Northeaster -
32 ly corner thereof; thence northwesterly

along northeasterly line of said "School
House Block" to the southerly production
of the East line of Lot 15 of said
Block 48; thence North to the Northeast
corner of said Lot 15; thence West, 340
feet to point of beginning.
(b) Those certain streets, alleys, or other ways,
located in Blocks 86, 68, 87, 67, 66, and 37, as shown by
Amended Map of the Town of Beaumont, recorded in Book 6, Paces
16 and 17 of yaps, records of San Bernardino County, California,
to wit:
Seventh Street from the East line of Mag
nolia Avenue tothe West line of Orange
Avenue. Last and West Alley in Block 86
and the North and South Ailey, North from
said East and West Alley to the South
line of above said Seventh Street.
North and South Alley in Block 68, from
the North line of said Seventh Street to
the North line of Lots 13 and 14 of said
Block 68. Seventh Street from the East
line of Orange Avenue to the ,Nest line of
Maple Avenue. North and South Alley from
the South line of Lots 5 and 6, Block 87
to the North line of Lots 1 and 2, Block
67.
North and South Alley in Block 66, from
the North line of Seventh Street to the
South line of Eighth Street.
North and South Ailey in Block 37, from
the North line of Ninth Street to the
South line of Tenth Street.
Section 3. That reference is hereby made to the map or
plan on file in the office of the City Clerk for particulars as
to the proposed vacation.
Section 4. Thet May 31st,, 1950, at the hour of 7:30
o'clock P. M., in the Chambers of the City Council in the City
Hall, is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all
persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation.
A PROVED and ADOPTED this 18th day of April, 1950.

4 hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance No. 252 of the City
5 of Beaumont, was introduced and read at a regular meeting of
6 the City Council of said City, duly held on the 12th day of
7 April, 1950, and that the same was on the 18th day of April,
8 1950, at a regular meeting of said City Council duly passed
9 and adopted by the following vote:
10 AYES: Councilmen: Taylor, ;Yard, Hamilton and xnnis.
11 NOES: Councilmen: one.
12 ABSENT: Councilmen: Councilman Cox.
