FOLLOWS:
Section 1, It snail be unlawful for
anan autho, person, firm, rized agenr t

ex-
cepting agent•or em-
ployee of 'a person, firm or corpora-
tion engaged • in the business of fur-,
niehing or supplying gas and whose
service pipes ;supply or connectwith
the particular premises, to turn on
or reconnect -gas service In or on any
premises where and when gas service
is not at .the time being rendered.
Section 2. Any person, firm or oor.
poration violating any of the -provi
sloes of this Ordinance shall be guilty
• of a misdemeanor and upon convic-
tion shall be punished by a fine of
not to exceed 2300.00 or by impris-
onment in the City or County jail.
for a period of .not to exceed ninety
(90) days, or bot11 such fine and im-
prisonment.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall cer-
tify to the adoption of this Ordinance
and shall cause the seine to be pub
dished once In the Herald of Banning,
a newspaper of general 'circulation,
printed, published and circulated in
the City of Banning, and thirty (30)
days : after its adoption, this Ordi-
nance ,shall be in full force and ef-
fect.

day o1 December, 1942.

ed at an adjourned regular meeting
of the City Council of said City,
duly held on the 23rd day of Decem-
ber, 1942, by the following vote.
