AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED "EAST BEAUIiONT
NO.1" ANNEXA`,E"0N DISTRICT, TO Telt; LIT OF BE'AUMuNT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUT ONT :
J :YEAS on the 27th day of October, 1954, the Council of the
City of Beaumont did pass and adopt Resolution No. 1115 giving
notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to
the City of Beaumont, said territory being therein designated as
"East Beaumont No.1" Annexation District, said Resolution describ-
ing the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed, and
V{EkEAS said Resolution No. 1115 did contain a notice of the
day, hour and place when and where the Council of the City would
hear protests made by any person owning real property within the
territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing being
not les: than fifteen (15) nor more than fifty (50) days from the
date of passage of said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, ,SAS, on the 8th day of December, 1954, at the hour of
7:30 o'clock P. 1. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall of the
City of Beaumont, County of Riverside, State of California, said
time and place being the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolu-
tion No. 1115 for hearing protests to the said annexation, the said
City Council did hear and pass upon all protests made to the proposed
annexation and did cetermirn that protests had not been made by the
owners of one-half of the value of the territory proposed to be annexed
as shown by the last equalized assessment roll, nor by public and pri-
vate owners of one-half of the v alue of the territory proposed to be
annexed as uetermined by said legislative body, and

and is uninhabited territory in the County of Riverside,

hereby approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter described

to the City of Beaumont, and does hereby further Ordain that the
said territory be and is hereby annexed to the City of Beaumont.

said territory, the annexation of which to the City of
Beaumont, is hereby approved is all that territory situate in the
County of Riverside, State of California, more particularly described.

Lot 2 and a portion of Lot 4,3lock 3,

records of San Bernardino County,California,more part-
icularly described as follows:
Be"inning at the Southwest corner of said Lot 2,
said point being also the Southeast corner of Lot 2,
Block 61 of "Amended i=ap of the Town ofBeaumont",
as recorder. in Jook 6,paes 16 and 17 of liaps, records
of s aid San Bernardino County;
Thence East along the South line of Lots 2 and 4,
433.82 feet to a point ._istant tdest, 220 feet from the
Southeast corner of said Lot 4;
Thence North and parallel .pith the hast line -.f
said Lot 4, 520 feet;
Thence Nest along; the North line of Lots 4 2,
486063 feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot 2;
Thence South 00 13' 30" East along the Nest line
of said Lot 2, 520 feet to the point of be nni ig , and
estimated to contain 5.792 Acres.
